Dr Aya Al Zein PhD. Formerly the head of urban organization at the governorate of south Lebanon, and currently lecturer and jury member for the Lebanese university, and others.

23 years of experience as an engineer and mediator in the public sector, including 16 years as department head. Working day by day closely with municipalities and local authorities to enforce construction laws, as well as all necessary safety regulations and environmental protection procedures. Even in certain events acting as an advisor or mediator for issues regarding urban development and settlement of disputes.

In most recent years, after receiving my PhD in 2015, I ventured into education in order to prepare the next generation of engineers, serving as a lecturer and a jury member at multiple universities including, (Lebanese University, Beirut Arab University, The Islamic University, The Lebanese American University).

After, I moved to Spain with my family, I continued my teaching online and I am looking to my participation on this order to be fruitful and this gave me more time to be involved as an expert in environment and solid waste management.
